e2 talks telecommuting at Lucas Oil Stadium event

On November 19, electronic evolutions hosted a lunch-and-learn session at Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the NFL's Indianapolis Colts. The meeting, titled Empowering Remote Workforces, discussed the many technologies that companies can use to reduce travel costs and increase telecommuting as well as suggested ways to implement these technologies into everyday business.

The session included presentations from TW Telecom about using bandwidth solutions to increase communication efficiency and from Fanning/Howey, an Indianapolis architechtural and engineering firm, discussing the videoconferencing system that e2 recently provided for them. The event concluded with a presentation by videoconferencing giant Tandberg, which included a demonstration of its 6000 MXP video communication system. After the session, attendees were treated to a 45-minute tour of the new facility.

"The event today was a great success," said e2 President and CEO Dan Knotts. "With the change in the economy right now, creating a remote workforce is a hot topic for many companies, so there was a lot of interest in this event. I believe we provided everyone with some great solutions for reducing travel costs and improving their communcation strategies."
